Ambassador Abdali Met with Director-General of JICA Kyushu
On July 9, 2021, Ambassador Abdali met with Ms. Yasue Yoshinari, Director-General of JICA Kyushu Center. They discussed a wide range of issues such as the need for greater coordination between JICA, the Embassy of Afghanistan in Tokyo, Prefectural Government of Fukuoka, and the PMS for the actualization of relevant matters discussed during Dr. Abdali’s visit to Fukuoka, including in areas of agricultural development in Afghanistan and expansion of cultural exchanges between Afghanistan and Fukuoka Prefecture.
Mr. Toyama Takshi, Director of Training Program Division JICA Kyushu, Mr. Najibullah Safi, Counselor of the Embassy, and Mr. Takashi Hibino, Senior Deputy Director for South Asia Division 2 JICA Tokyo, also participated in this meeting.
