Ambassador Abdali Greeted Afghan Athletes Attending Pre-Games Training Camp in Omuta City
July 8, 2021 – During his visit to Fukuoka Prefecture, Ambassador Abdali greeted a group of Afghan athletes and their coaches who are attending the pre-Games training camp hosted by Omuta City based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed among the National Olympic and Paralympic Committee of Afghanistan, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Omuta City in December 2020. Dr. Abdali commended their participation in the training camp and wished the athletes every in the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Mr. Najibullah Safi, Counselor of the Embassy, also participated in this meeting.
